But what happens when a youngster determines that society is distorting the facts about drugs? Who does he trust for information? Where does this lead him? These are exactly the questions that Confessions of a Dope Dealer was written to address.

Making conscientious, informed, responsible decisions about drug use is not something we, as a society, have much training in. Many times the smart answer is no, but in this modern world of drugs, legal and illegal, expecting people to simply say no is rather naïve. Any two year old can tell you that the answer to no is Yes! Whether they’ve seen the damage first hand or not, many people are concerned that alternative viewpoints on drug use will promote drug abuse, but it’s quite unlikely that Sheldon’s performance will do that. Part of Sheldon’s “Karmic Debt Refinancing” program includes making himself available as a speaker to junior high and high school audiences preceding his shows.
