The college experience is bound to open up unexpected doors, some leading to places we’d prefer students not enter. To develop broad minded, critically thinking, responsible citizens, however, requires open access to information, inquiry, and discussion of what it is to be responsible.

In our drug fueled society, many of your students already know that what passes for drug education is merely propaganda. If you’re going to reach them, and expect them to make intelligent decisions about a complex topic like drug use, you’ll need more than Just Say No. You’ll need an articulate, experienced, researched advocate for Cognitive Responsibility.
