Can you pass the Dope Dealer Drug Quiz??? |
A Matter of Dosage
- The Confessions of a Dope Dealer Show
-
People ask me why I do a show about my life of dope dealing,
" Isn't that a bust?"
" Look around," I say,
"is there any more of a bust than the Drug Czar???
Than the DARE program?
Than the "Drug War" itself?"
The government is lying to us and we pay the cost in lives lost.
Someone has to take the responsibility to go out and deal with things realistically, who better than a guy that started dealing in high school and rode the tide through UCLA, CAL, Humboldt County and Grateful Dead Tour?" A guy who went on to spend 15 years studying consiousness, Chinese Medicine, and drugs, from historical, political, psychological, neurochemical and shamanistic frameworks. A Harm Reductionist and Cognitive Libertarian. A guy...like...Me!
Confessions of a Dope Dealer was created as a synapse scorching document of drug experience that entertains, informs, and enlightens, without resorting to the Just Say No card. In the years since I retired from drug abuse (and I do differentiate between use and abuse) I've spent a lot of time investigating the mind, and drug-free mind altering techniques. I've also studied the history, sociology, psychology, spirituality and neuro-chemistry/biology of drugs with some of the top experts in the field. My book and show have been hailed as amazingly perceptive self-examinations, dedicated to helping others avoid the pitfalls that exist in our drug laden society. |

Drug experiences are primary cultural rites-of-passage. How we, as citizens of the world, deal with this fact, will determine whether our young people will be prepared to navigate them or crash on a rocky coast. Come see my show, and afterwards we can talk about it. |
